How to install a pixel
Installing a pixel can be accomplished by using the two methods below
METHOD 1 - Manual pixel code placement into your website's "head"
Paste your pixel code between the <head></head> tags on every page of your website. You only need to install the pixel code once per website.
Consult your web developer if you do not know how to install a site-wide pixel into the "head" of your website.
METHOD 2 - Placement of pixel code via Google Tag Manager
Inside Tag Manager, you can follow these steps:
Within your Google Tag Manager dashboard, click the 'Add a New Tag'
Configure your tag by entering the title of your tag
Then click anywhere in the top 'Tag Configuration' box, to open up the list of tag types.
From the list of tag types, choose or search 'Custom HTML'
Paste your generated pixel code inside the HTML textbox.
Next, click anywhere on top of 'Triggering' box to choose your preferred trigger.
Once you're ok with the settings in your 'Tag Configuration' and 'Triggering' boxes, click the blue 'Save' button.
Activate your tag by pressing the 'Submit' button.
